If you live in the frozen north, you need to be prepared for the brutal icy and snowy weather that is coming. Don't you just love it when you walk outside to
find your car covered in an impenetrable blanket of ice and/or snow?
Is there a simple and
effective windshield cover solution?
The Delk
frost guard windshield cover is a strong yet flexible
windshield cover that the company says will solve this difficult
problem. You just need to plan ahead. You get out your Delk 52495
prior to your car being snowed or iced in and wrap the convenient
straps aound your side view mirrors. The cover stays in place and
actually does better as snow and ice builds up.
What about
the next day after a storm?
What
about getting your car or truck freed from the ice and snow? Well it
is really pretty simple if you had the foresight to install the Delk
windshield cover before the precipitation began. Start your car
and roll the windshield cover off and away you go. If the cover is
severe, you may have you brush some snow off before removing the
windshield cover but it is still a lot easier than trying to clear
off your windshield without using a cover.
What about a Magnetic Windshield Ice & Snow Cover?
These work fine if your windshield is
perfectly clean to start out with but what happens
when there is
already an accumulation of ice or snow built up on the vehicle? It
is then almost impossible to get a magnetic windshield cover to stay
in place in those conditions.
Are there any

One of
the questions I have had with the cover is the fit. It may not quite
